Mary and Terry Baker welcome you to The Botanic Nursery & Gardens located in Atworth, Wiltshire, SN12 8NU. We have a small plantsperson’s garden full of interesting shrubs and trees which you can wander around and enjoy in the peace of nature.

The plant sales beds are full of a unique range of plants and we are there to guide and inform you if required so please do ask, we love to share our knowledge.

We endeavour to keep the web site up to date, if you find the plant you want says it is not available or sold out, please do email to ask if we have any and we will let you know. office@botanicnursery.co.uk

We will be closing to visitors on the 1st of July 2024. This is to allow Terry and Mary to take stock of the plants that are left on the nursery prior to making decisions about the closure or passing on of the business as we retire from it.

We look forward to welcoming you before July to the nursery and the nursery gardens. We have special open days for the National Gardens Scheme on June 6th, 7th and 8th, where short guided tours of the nursery garden will be going on during the day. The intersectional Peonies should be looking fabulous and also the narrow Foxglove border should be in full flower. To compliment the event, the unseen garden of Rookery Cottage next door to the nursery will also be part of the opening. Refreshments at the nursery will be available, donation requested for Julia’s House.

See our events page for details or look on the National Gardens Scheme web site.

It is possible to book to visit in July / August however this will need to be arranged in advance by email office@botanicnursery.co.uk
